Picked this morning

Our cutters are in the rows before the heat, and the crates are on the road by mid-morning. That is why what we send tastes like it should. Season decides this list — when something is finished, we say so plainly rather than send a substitute you did not ask for.

• Tomatoes, by the crate — Cut this morning at Mowe and packed straight into crates. Sold by the crate — tell us how many your kitchen needs this week.
• Peppers, by the kilogram — Sweet and hot peppers from the same morning's picking. Sold by the kilogram, and you can mix them if that is what you cook with.
• Leafy greens, by the bunch — Bunched while the morning is still cool, then straight onto the truck. Sold by the bunch, and they arrive with the leaves still firm.
• Free-range eggs, by the crate — Collected from our own layers this morning and packed on the farm. Sold by the crate, in whatever count your week calls for.
• Yam, by the tuber — From partner farms we visit ourselves, checked before it leaves our gate. Sold by the tuber, in the sizes you ask for.
• Plantain, by the bunch — Green or ripe, from farms we check ourselves. Sold by the bunch — say how ripe you want it and we pick to that.

Eggs, and staples from farms we visit

The eggs are ours: our own layers, collected every morning and packed the same day. The yam, plantain and cassava come from partner farms we visit ourselves, so we know the plot and the person before the produce reaches our gate. We name what we know, and we keep quiet about what we do not.

• Free-range eggs, by the crate — From our own layers, collected daily and packed on the farm. Sold by the crate; tell us how many crates your week needs.
• Yam, by the tuber — Bought from partner farms we visit ourselves and checked before it leaves our gate. Sold by the tuber, in the sizes you want.
• Plantain and cassava — Also from farms we check ourselves, and sent alongside your vegetables so one truck carries the whole order into Lagos.

Before you order

• What if something I want is finished? — We tell you the same day you ask. Nothing gets substituted quietly — if the greens are finished, you hear it from us and we agree what to send instead.
• When does the truck leave? — We harvest in the morning and the load leaves for Lagos the same day. Confirm early enough in the morning and your order has the best chance of making that run.
• How do I pay? — Payment is agreed when we confirm your order. Call or WhatsApp 0904 910 1934 and we will tell you what works for your delivery.
