Produce & supply
We plant to the season, so the list changes. Tomatoes and peppers run strongest in the dry months, leafy greens come all year, and eggs are steady because the layers are ours. Ask what is in the ground this week before you plan a menu around it.
- Tomatoes — crate or basketOur main crop on the Mowe plots. Cut in the cool of the morning, packed in crates or baskets, and on the road to Lagos the same day.
- Sweet peppers — basketGreen and red peppers, picked at full size and graded before packing. Best supply runs with the dry season; ask what is in the ground this week.
- Leafy greens — bunchUgu, efo tete, scent leaf and spinach, tied in bunches and moved quickly because greens do not wait. Cut to order, never stored over.
- Free-range eggs — crateFrom our own layers, collected daily and candled before crates leave the farm. Larger orders please give us a day's notice.
- Yam, plantain, cassava — by the bagBought from partner farms we visit ourselves, so we know the plot before we know the price. Sold by tuber, bunch or full bag.
Baskets and bulk kitchens
Two ways to buy from us. A weekly basket suits homes and small kitchens that want a steady supply without thinking about it. Bulk supply suits restaurants and caterers cooking for fifty or more, where the volume and the delivery day must hold every week.
